When configured correctly, this product does an excellent job. We have many projects in which resources are distributed. We try to take advantage of the power of the platform to combine and use the product to see in which state of execution each project is located. The biggest issue this was resolved is that I can know view the actual schedule and make changes if I need to rather than getting a PDF of the schedule and having no control of the document. The benefit is that I can edit the schedule to realize hypothetical scenarios and dates for a particular project.

What I like most about Microsoft Project Standard – Open Academic is that it is designed to support the selection, planning and execution of a variety of different jobs, including, among others, traditional projects. They often include collaboration and communication skills, and allow work teams and project offices to report and monitor projects.

Your tools can help with decision-making in projects and resource-intensive work environments. I can track costs, milestones, resource, due dates, etc. I can honestly say it is a Microsoft Product that works and works well.
