The multi-function software for scanning etc doesn’t work on it I have a desktop if I need to use that , but again, if you just need to print, there are models without the extra functions. I have a brother mfc and the Microsoft driver will print to it, but all duplex prints print as short edge prints. This I can’t seem to fix. Yeah, mine seems to default to print on the short edge. But in the printer preference there is an option to change that. At least mine has that option. Does yours not? Some apps let me “print using print dialog” and that usually has the option to change that, but not always. Printers spooler is not available If we try to add any printer – fatal error.
Do you have any decision for this issue? Office has been installed and this seems to break the printing subsystem. We found the root of problem. I hope that next version of Parallels will decide this issue. Finally an answer!
